If a user on ebay has Automatic Bidding on, how fast does it place the automatic bid?

by admin on February 13, 2010

I am wanting to purchase a vehicle on ebay. However, I am pretty sure the top bidder at this point has automatic bidding turned on. If I was to bid on the item within the last few minutes of the auction, how fast would the user’s automatic bid occur?

As soon as you place your bid, if his auto bid is higher, you will be notified with a red X that you have been outbid. When you have outbid him the green check will come.

their highest bid is automatic and will increase all the way to the amount the user input in the highest bid section of the auction – their bid will continue to increase until it is outbid by another user – you’ll need to keep increasing your bid until you outbid that user

instantly after someone places a higher bid than your current bid
