This really needs an answer, as I believe this is cops overstepping thier bounds by leaps. Apparently they can arrest you, and take your vehicle, and sell it at auction, leaving you to still pay for it with your auto company. What the fuck do these officers think they are doing, fucking someones life completely over for a responsible adult wishing to enjoy a PLANT!!!! This didn’t happen to me, but I saw it on an episode of COPS.

It’s a controlled substance, and if anyone is illegally in possession of it, they can confiscate whatever property it was found in.
Oh wow, COPS, where everyone should get their info. Most likely the car was towed and the deadbeat pot head couldn’t afford to get it out. After 90 days they can sell it. Make sure you present the whole story.

They are not overstepping they are just enforcing the laws that our government has passed. It is not the cops fault but the governments fault
