It just seems that too little mileage was put on between 2006 and 2008 (about 9k). Here’s the report that was put in the ad by the owner. Also should I trust this information or should I get my own car fax?

It very well could have been driven less during that time. When I am deployed, 0 miles are put on my car for an entire year.
Hi, this is just a guess but, because of the car going to auction more than once it tells me there may have been a problem with the car. Dealers usually send cars to auction because it would cost them to much to get the car up to speed. If that is the case that is why the low mileage. If it were sitting in a shop for a problem, who knows how long it was in the shop? And in answer to the Carfax question, yes always run one yourself.
I broke my leg May 19 and did not drive my car until October 11, i.e. zero miles during this time. ( I like it when I can say “i.e.” or “e.g.”)
