In the long run, the dealer used car lots offer some advantages at least to compare with any other deals you find. An original owner who had all their servicing documented at the dealer and then trades it in for a new car at that dealer is a great car to buy in my opinion. It’s even better to locate that owner and purchase the car direct from them since you can pay them much more than a dealer will give them on a trade-in once they make their best deal with no trade-in. If you get to know the dealership, you can get tips on when their new car customers are turning in their used cars, and everybody is happy all around because the dealer really doesn’t want the trade-in in some cases and the owner is just looking for a reasonable quick sale to somebody.
